Absolutely fantastic. Kept me reading until all the parts were finished. Characters and plenty of action to make this a worthwhile collection. Love anything by this talented writer.

Changing audiobook narrators is hard. You've gotten used to the way a certain character sounds. But the interview with the author and the new narrator about how and why was helpful. There are a few characters that still don't quite sound right to me, but for the most part, this was a good time in the story to switch.

Story wise, it's an interesting way to deal with a character that is too powerful. The motivations for all the characters aren't perfect. I wouldn't call these Vesik books "great literature". But they are a fun ride. And sometimes, entertainment is what we're looking for in our stories.
